The Student Activities Board is Truman’s primary event planning organization. Along with Student Government and FAC, SAB is one of three fee-based organizations at Truman. We receive our funding from a portion of the Student Activities Fee administered to all students.
SAB is comprised of six committees that work together to provide a variety of entertainment Truman State University student body. Together, these committees have brought incredible talent and entertainment to campus for decades.
Over the years, SAB has hosted a wide range of comedians, artists and speakers. Notables include Bill Nye, Gianmarco Soresi, CupcakKe, Monét X Change, Kenan Thompson, Hunter Hayes, and Noah Cyrus. We also provide students with free movie nights, fun crafting events, and many other forms of entertainment.
The SAB Office is located on the lower level of the Student Union Building and is open every semester from Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
